Nexuiz is a new First Person Shooter (FPS) game coming out on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. I am a PC enthusiast, so any time I hear about a fast paced, twitch friendly FPS Arena game, I become really interested.

I've been a fan of Nexuiz since before they sold the rights to Illfonic to create this game. I can't say I've been 100% enthusiastic but it looks like it could be fun. They claim this is a competitive game designed for twitch shooters, but so much is unknown that it's hard to say whether Nexuiz truly fits that description.

In order for Nexuiz to earn the competitive badge, they need to have dedicated servers on the PC and allow custom fan made content at no extra expense. Illfonic is more than welcome to sell DLC, but if that's the only form of added content, then Nexuiz will forever be restricted to a casual description. Nexuiz is due for release on Feb. 29th, 2012 on Xbox 360 and later on the PC and PS3. My fingers are crossed.
